Hours of paddle fun without scalded knees or toes and perfect boat contact! The mats fall smoothly, without wrinkles into the chines of the boat. This way, the canoe can be heeled comfortably and safely down to the rails. Especially in winter, the 8mm thick cellular rubber provides additional thermal insulation.
With denser material, we were able to reduce the material thickness while maintaining excellent padding and thereby improving the boat contact compared with thicker mats.
The bottom is equipped with the special Shark Skin embossing, which ensures skid resistance, even on wet Royalex. Of course, the cell foam of this mat is also tested for skin compatibility, and the top layer fabric has been Ökotex certified.
The mats are easy to clean (usually knocking th edried mat and wet wiping the bottom with a wet cloth is enough) and absorb almost no water. As a result, no unpleasant odors arise, even if you have packed the mat wet for a while.
Especially keen paddlers will be happy about the improved durability against kneeling flat spots. (Even after eight years of hard course operation, our prototypes are still in use.)
